GIWW, Matagorda Bay to Corpus Christi Bay, Maintenance Dredging in Calhoun, Patricio, and Nueces Counties, Texas

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for FY24 USACE Galveston District GIWW, Matagorda Bay to Corpus Christi Bay, Maintenance Dredging in Calhoun, Patricio, and Nueces Counties, Texas. The work consists of maintenance dredging in specific areas with estimated dredge volumes and completion times. The solicitation is subject to the availability of funds and is UNRESTRICTED.

Work Details
The work consists of Schedule 1: Maintenance pipeline dredging with an estimated dredge volume of 718,000 CY. Placement areas are open water PA 139, upland Pas 55/5 and 157, and Aransas National Wildlife Refuge Beneficial Use Sites B.
Option 1 includes GIWW Aransas Pass maintenance pipeline dredging with an estimated dredge volume of 462,000 CY and specific placement areas.
Option 2 involves maintenance dredging of Colorado River Locks Boat House. The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract award with an estimated magnitude between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for Schedule No. 1 is estimated at 49 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. If awarded an additional option, 19 calendar days will be added to the contract completion date.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Calhoun, Patricio, and Nueces Counties in Texas.
