Geophysical Data Purchase and Survey Sourcing

Background
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a mission-critical need for an avenue to purchase off-the-shelf geophysical data from external sources and coordinate direct surveys of geophysical data. This contract aims to expand potential sources currently unknown to NGA, streamline the data acquisition process, and serve as a Trusted Broker in data purchasing agreements and directed survey sourcing. The desired data types include gravity data, magnetic data, seismic reflection data, soils data, hydrographic data, and well log data.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:

1. Data Brokering: Assist NGA in developing relationships with geophysical and geologic data holders; establish points of contact with vendors; understand pricing structures; and pursue additional data sources.

2. Direct Geophysical Survey Sourcing: Establish contact with vendors performing desired surveys and provide collected geophysical data in an acceptable format.

3. Data Virus Scanning: Scan purchased data with appropriate virus scan software to ensure safety from viruses and malware. The contractor must deliver requested geophysical data within 15 days after receipt of order and ensure that all activities meet NGA's quality standards.

Period of Performance
The overall Period of Performance is five years (60 months), including two base years and three optional ordering periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor’s office or facility.
