Gabion Baskets IDIQ   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Rock Island District is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of Gabion Baskets and associated services in support of the National Flood Fight Materiel Center (NFFMC).

The goal of this contract is to provide fully textile lined gabion baskets for use during flood events, along with technical advisory services and transportation costs. This contract will be structured as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Work Details
The contract includes the following key components:
1. **Gabion Baskets**:
- **Quantity**: 12,000 each per ordering period
- **Specifications**: Fabric-lined gabion baskets, stacked 10 units high, banded, shrink-wrapped, and shipped on hardwood pallets.
- **Delivery Conditions**:
- Emergency Conditions: Delivery within 72 hours.
- Urgent Conditions: Delivery within 5 business days.
- Normal Conditions: Delivery within 45 days for CONUS and 90 days for outside CONUS.
2. **Technical Advisory Services**:
- **Quantity**: 1,500 hours per ordering period.
3. **Technical Advisory Travel Expenses**:
- **Quantity**: 20 jobs per ordering period.
4. **Transportation Services**:
- **Quantity**: 80 jobs per ordering period.
5. The contract is divided into five ordering periods from January 2, 2025, to January 1, 2030.

Period of Performance
The contract has five ordering periods:
- Ordering Period 1: January 2, 2025 – January 1, 2026
- Ordering Period 2: January 2, 2026 – January 1, 2027
- Ordering Period 3: January 2, 2027 – January 1, 2028
- Ordering Period 4: January 2, 2028 – January 1, 2029
- Ordering Period 5: January 2, 2029 – January 1, 2030

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to various locations within the Continental United States (CONUS), specifically to the Emergency Management Office at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Rock Island, IL.
