Background
The 375th Contracting Squadron (PKB1) at Scott AFB, IL is soliciting a requirement for a Hood and Duct service contract. This contract aims to ensure the cleanliness and compliance of hood and exhaust systems at Scott AFB, aligning with the mission of maintaining safety and operational efficiency within the base's facilities.

The contract is intended to be awarded as a base year plus four option years.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to clean hood and exhaust systems. Specific tasks include:
- Removing accumulated grease, dust, lint, and dirt from hoods, ducts, fans, and equipment without using flammable solvents or cleaning aids.
- Ensuring that all cleaning is performed by certified personnel in accordance with NFPA 96 standards.
- Providing before-and-after cleaning photos for each hood cleaned and identifying any areas not compliant with NFPA 96 for further action.

Cleaning schedules will allow for a 15-day leeway from the last cleaning date for bi-monthly and quarterly cleanings.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract structure includes a base year from March 18, 2025, to March 17, 2026, followed by four option years extending through March 17, 2030.
