This project will consist of furnishing all equipment, labor, transportation, supplies, and materials for on-site support necessary for debris and aquatic vegetation removal at the Cooper River Rediversion Project. One debris removal event shall consist of the complete removal of all of the debris that is present in the specified covered area. The solicitation is hereby posted as of 8 November 2024. The Amendment 0001 is hereby posted as of 21 November 2024.

Background
The Cooper River Rediversion Project, managed by the relevant agency, aims to facilitate fish passage operations by removing debris and aquatic vegetation that obstructs the Fishlift exit chamber inlet. This project is crucial for maintaining the ecological balance and ensuring the effective functioning of the fish passage system, which impacts local fish populations and their migration patterns.

The project is located approximately fifty miles north of Charleston, South Carolina.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, labor, transportation, supplies, and materials necessary for on-site support for debris and aquatic vegetation removal at the Cooper River Rediversion Project. Key tasks include:
1. Mobilization and demobilization of all contractor’s plant and equipment to and from the project site.
2. Conducting debris removal events that consist of complete removal of all debris present in specified areas.
3. Performing work during designated hours (Monday through Friday, 0730-1700).
4. Providing services on an as-needed basis with a weekly call to determine service requirements from January through May.
5. Each service call is considered one debris cleaning event to be completed within three business days.
6. Deliverables include a detailed trip report submitted no later than two weeks after each cleaning event.

Period of Performance
The initial performance period is one year with the possibility of renewal annually for up to four additional years, totaling a maximum duration of five years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Cooper River Rediversion Project located at 1275 Rediversion Road, St. Stephen, South Carolina 29479.
