Fort Stewart – Hunter Army Airfield – GA   3

Background
The purpose of this procurement is a non-personal services contract to provide DPW support services for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) work; Demand Maintenance Order (DMO) work; Preventive Maintenance Order (PMO) Work, and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) services at Fort Stewart, GA and satellite installations. The contract includes four additional 12-month option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the government. The contract also involves substantial construction, alteration, renovation, painting, and repair work.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide multi-disciplinary maintenance and repair services for US Army Garrison Fort Stewart – Hunter Army Airfield facilities, systems, sub-systems, components, and equipment as defined in the performance work statement (PWS) at Fort Stewart (Hinesville) and Hunter Army Airfield (Savannah) Georgia. The work may be characterized as either Construction Wage Rate Requirements painting/repairs or Service Contract Labor Standards maintenance. The contract includes detailed rules for determining whether a service call or order requires construction trade skills or falls under maintenance standards.

The labor rates in effect at the time of contract award will remain in effect through the applicable base or option performance period.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base period of this contract begins on the date of award and will run for one year after date of award. The contract includes four additional 12-month option periods that may be exercised at the government's discretion.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed are Fort Stewart (Hinesville) and Hunter Army Airfield (Savannah), Georgia.
