Folsom Dam Raise Project Raising Mormon Island Auxiliary Dam (MIAD) at Folsom Lake, California. Work consists of raising the Mormon Island Auxiliary Dam (MIAD) 3.5 feet by constructing a floodwall structure along its 4,900 feet long crest. A seepage cutoff wall, 30 inches wide with an average depth of 17 feet, will tie the raised section to the dam?s core. Riprap will be placed on the upstream side of the floodwall. Per FAR 36.204(ii) the estimated magnitude for this requirement is between $10M and $25M. This solicitation will use PSC Code Y1LC - Construction of Tunnels and Subsurface Structures and NAICS code 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses.

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento Contracting Division has issued a solicitation for the Folsom Dam Raise Project.
