Background: The Folsom Dam Law Enforcement and Security Services solicitation is issued by the Bureau of Reclamation. The goal of the contract is to provide law enforcement and security services for Folsom Dam. The contract requires a written COR designation from the Bureau of Reclamation, which specifies the authority of the COR to act on behalf of the agency. The COR does not have the authority to issue technical direction that constitutes additional work outside the contract requirements, changes in contract cost or performance time, changes in contract terms or specifications, or interferes with the contractor's right to perform. All technical direction must be issued in writing by the COR.

Details: The tasks/services to be completed under the contract include:
- Providing law enforcement and security services for Folsom Dam
- Following a training plan that includes completing required training for law enforcement officers and security officers
- Developing a concept of operations that outlines operational posture, quality control, scheduling requirements, performance standards, and compliance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan
- Developing a temporary/ramp plan to provide additional fully equipped law enforcement officers and security officers within specified timeframes upon government request
- Ensuring compliance with general security requirements, including procedural requirements, information security requirements, contractor employee suitability requirements, identification card requirements, site security requirements, vessel exclusion barriers, and information technology security requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting all cases of death, occupational diseases, traumatic injury to employees or the public, and property damage
- Submitting a proposed safety program as prescribed in the RSHS (Radiation Safety and Health Standards) and written specifications

Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract is from November 2022 onwards.

Place of Performance: The contract will be performed at Folsom Dam located at 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, CA 95630.
