The Pentagon Force Protection Agency requires over (100) E-Z Pass Transponders for the distribution of several Pentagon Force Protection Agency Fleet Vehicles. The purpose of these transponders is to reduce the need for individuals to stop at toll checkpoints. A transponder is a device that sends a signal in response to another signal and can be used to increase the efficiency of toll payments by allowing drivers to pass through checkpoints without needing to fumble for cash.

Background
The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) is responsible for providing force protection, security, and law enforcement operations for the Pentagon Reservation and Department of Defense (DoD) activities. This includes ensuring the safety of personnel and facilities, conducting emergency responses, and protecting senior DoD officials.

The PFPA maintains a fleet of over 280 vehicles used by authorized Pentagon Police Division (PPD) employees. The purpose of this contract is to provide Toll Management transponder services to enhance operational efficiency by allowing vehicles to pass through toll checkpoints without stopping.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide over 100 E-Z Pass Transponders for distribution among several PFPA fleet vehicles. The transponders are intended to facilitate toll payments, enabling drivers to pass through checkpoints without needing cash.

The contractor will also deliver a full range of toll management services that support all national toll roads within the continental United States (CONUS). This includes providing transponder equipment, replacements, and comprehensive customer support for toll management services. Additionally, an internet-based reporting and centralized billing system must be established to promote account management and identify cost-saving opportunities within the DoD Toll Management program. The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary personnel, management, materials, equipment, and facilities required to fulfill these obligations.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily in Maryland, Virginia, and other nearby states as required.
