Description

This requirement is for the leasing of an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicle (ARFF) for a base period of four months, in addition to two (2) four-month options. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, and other items necessary to lease/rent an ARFF firefighting vehicle, in accordance with the Statement of Need.

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

Background
This requirement is issued by the 47th Civil Engineer Squadron at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. The mission of the agency is to ensure safety and operational readiness through effective firefighting capabilities.

The goal of this contract is to lease an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicle (ARFF) for a base period of four months, with options for two additional four-month periods, to enhance firefighting operations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, and other items necessary to lease/rent one Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicle in accordance with the attached Statement of Need.

The vehicle must meet specific performance criteria outlined in the Statement of Need. The contractor is also responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is inspected and accepted at the designated location at Laughlin AFB. Acceptance criteria will be detailed in the Statement of Need.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base period of four months with two optional extensions of four months each.
