Fertilizer and Herbicide Application Services at Pikes Peak National Cemetery
Please see the performance work statement for details about the requirement. The tentative period of performance is 1/1/2024 - 12/31/2024. See Attachment A for information and evaluation criteria. We are not offering a guided site visit but interested offerors may access the cemetery during normal operating hours. See Attachment B for an aerial view of the cemetery. See attachment C for the NCA Handbook 3410 referenced in the performance work statement. Questions must be submitted to David.Boyd7@va.gov by 2:00 PM EST on Thursday 12/7/2023. Answers will be provided via an amendment to this solicitation.
Background
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) honors veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service to the nation. The standards of maintenance, appearance, and operational procedures performed by the Contractor at Pikes Peak National Cemetery shall reflect the nation’s concern for those interred there.

The NCA Integrated Pest Management Procedures Handbook 3410 provides standards for performance in key cemetery operational areas.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to provide fertilizer and herbicide application services at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. The services include fertilizer applications, pre-emergent herbicide applications, optional pre-emergent herbicide applications, and post-emergent herbicide applications. The estimated total area to be treated yearly is approximately 22.08 acres.

The period of performance for these services is from 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2028.
