Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) the Contracting Officer has determined only one brand to be reasonably available. The Government intends to solicit for: the renewal of FEMAP with NX NASTRAN software maintenance.

This solicitation is a brand name, small business set-aside (justification attached). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) no. N0016724Q0175. The NAICS code is 513210 and the business size standard is $47 Million. Background

Work Details
The contractor shall provide renewal of annual software maintenance and technical support for FEMAP, FEMAP with NX NASTRAN, and NX NASTRAN licenses for the NSWCCD Code 65. The deliverables include software upgrades and updates under the Annual Software Maintenance and Technical Support Contract associated with Install ID 1196545, 1167210, 10123933, and 1509962.
The period of performance for Software Maintenance and Technical Support shall take effect on 1 July 2024.
