FDC SeaTac - Comprehensive Medical Services

Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), part of the Department of Justice, is responsible for the management and care of federal inmates. The BOP has determined that the procurement of comprehensive medical services (CMS) for the Federal Detention Center (FDC) in SeaTac, Washington, meets the criteria for other than full and open competition due to the unique qualifications of the incumbent provider, Seven Corners, Inc. This justification is necessary to ensure continuity of medical services for the inmate population.

Work Details
The contract involves the acquisition and continuation of community and institution-based comprehensive medical services. These services include essential medical, dental, and mental health care for federal inmates. When institutional medical staff cannot meet a medical need, referrals are made to community-based providers.

The specific services required include:
- Inpatient/Outpatient Facility and Physician services
- Outpatient Institution Services from Psychiatrists and Optometrists.

Seven Corners has agreed to provide these services at previously established Medicare benchmark rates through monthly Firm Fixed Unit Pricing purchase orders until a new CMS contract is awarded.

Period of Performance
The proposed period of performance for this interim action will be from April 1, 2025, through September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Federal Detention Center located at 2425 S. 200th Street, SeaTac, Washington 98198.
