Fci La Tuna Factory Hvac Replacement

Background
The Federal Correctional Institution La Tuna, located in Anthony, TX, is issuing this solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price Construction Type Contract. The project aims to replace the HVAC system at the facility. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. Contractors must possess an active HVAC license in Texas and certification in OSHA-30 Hours training with Competent Person training in OSHA-40 Hour.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide labor and materials to perform the installation of:

1. Seven (7) Russell Air handlers or equivalent units (Model # RW8A4436EDAG) with specifications including:
- Motor: 3 phase
- Fluid temperature entering/leaving: 60F/69.4F
- Flow rate: 43.3 GPM
- BTUH capacity: 20400
- Unit voltage: 230/3/60
- Fins/inch: 8
- Refrigerant connections: inlet 2-5/8, outlet 2-5/8
- Four fans with air throw of 120’ and CFM of 27500 with a fan diameter of 30”.

2. Two (2) 1½ ton mini-split systems for office spaces.
3. One (1) 2-ton heat pump system and associated equipment located at the existing Unicor factory.
4. All necessary piping, valves, and in-line pumps to maintain proper water flow.
5. Site improvements to enhance infrastructure at the facility.
6. A written report of completed testing services with test results must be provided.
7. All required documentation associated with the installation and testing of new equipment must be completed.

The work will be performed at the Federal Correctional Institution La Tuna located in Anthony, TX.
