Background
The Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Prisons, FCI Ashland is seeking to continue providing comprehensive medical services to the inmate population. This action is a sole source acquisition due to the unique qualifications of the incumbent contractor, Seven Corners, Inc., which has agreed to maintain its previous Medicare benchmark rates for these services until a new contract can be awarded. The estimated value of this requirement is $165,000.

Work Details
The agency requires Comprehensive Medical Services for March 2025, which includes essential medical, dental, and mental health services for Federal inmates. When medical needs arise that cannot be addressed by the institution's medical staff, referrals will be made to community-based medical providers. The incumbent contractor will provide necessary medical services through their established network of local medical facilities and physicians. They will continue to offer various on-site outpatient institution services.
