FCI Ashland Comp Medical JOFOC

Background
The U.S. Department of Justice, specifically the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), is seeking to procure comprehensive medical services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Ashland located in Ashland, Kentucky.

This procurement is justified as other than full and open competition due to the unique qualifications of the incumbent contractor, Seven Corners, Inc., which has been providing these services and is deemed essential for maintaining continuity of care for the inmate population.

Work Details
The contract will cover comprehensive medical services including essential medical, dental, and mental health services for federal inmates.

Services provided will include:
- Inpatient/Outpatient Facility and Physician services;
- Outpatient Institution Services such as Mobile MRI, Cardiology, Orthopedic Surgery, Mobile Ultrasound/Echo, General Surgery, Physical Therapy, Psychiatry, Urology, and Optometry.

The contractor will continue to provide these services under previously agreed Medicare benchmark rates via monthly Firm Fixed Unit Pricing purchase orders until a new contract can be awarded.
