The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of various types of Bread items on a monthly basis for the federal offenders incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Complex Terre Haute, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and a one-year options for renewal at the discretion of the government.

The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 311812, Commercial Bakeries with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses.

The estimated quantities for the base year and the option year will vary amongst various items to include hamburger buns, hot dog buns, sliced bread, dinner rolls, and hoagie rolls per year. The successful contractor shall provide the items monthly and freshly baked within 48 hours.
