Evaluation Factors: The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is most advantageous to the Government.

  • Past Performance: Offerors will be evaluated on their previous successful completion of similar projects.
  • Availability: The ability of the vendor to meet the delivery and service requirements within the specified timeline.
  • Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA): The award will be based on the lowest price that meets all technical requirements.

Background
The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Florence, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking to procure two PVI water heaters along with necessary replacement parts and services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the facility has reliable hot water systems, which are essential for its operations. Work Details

1. Two (2) PVI Turbopower 96 Gas Condensing Water Heaters with the following specifications:

- Storage: 300 Gallons
- Thermal Efficiency: 96%
2. Replacement parts for two (2) PVI heat exchanger units, including:
- PVI Burner Rebuilds (2)
- Various gaskets and igniters
3. Technician services for start-up observation to ensure proper installation and functionality of the water heaters. This includes a full day visit for verification of start-up and training on maintenance.
4. Comprehensive warranty coverage on all parts and services provided.
5. FOB delivery to FCC Florence, with shipping costs included in the total price.
