Background
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is requesting information and conducting market research on the current offeror’s capabilities to provide Information Technology (IT) Research and Consultancy for the Laboratory Division (LD) Information Technology & Strategy Unit (ITSU). The mission of the FBI LD is to collect, analyze, and share timely scientific and technical information. The vision of the ITSU is to solve IT so the Lab can solve crime. ITSU maintains 7 networks and over 20 applications to support the FBI LD.

Work Details
The intent of this RFI is to obtain capability information to determine businesses that can satisfy the objectives. The offeror may be required to have significant, demonstrated experience in managing and carrying out IT business strategy and operations, network engineering, cloud computing, solutions architecture, integrated consulting services for business and program management relating to IT activities and IT support, collecting and providing expert analysis on functional and non-functional requirements, providing oversight of incumbent contractors supporting ITSU, technical consultation, analysis, recommendations regarding Tier III contractor(s) support, Agile management practices and procedures, Business Process Reengineering, automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc.
The primary place of performance is onsite in Quantico, Virginia; however, telework may be heavily supported by the program.
