Fast Response Cutter (FRC), Recurring Depot Availability Program (RDAP) USCG Yard, Curtis Bay, MD

Solicitation 70Z04722RCGRADP00 project scope includes design and demolition along with disposal of Building 47 and Building 148 at the USCG Yard site, Curtis Bay, MD. The project also includes but is not limited to design/demolition of portions of the marginal West Wharf, design/construction of a single bay (Bay 1) FRC maintenance building, design/construction of a structural slab for a second bay, site work, design/construction of a Bay 2 FRC maintenace building and the design/construction of air units, industrial dehumidifiers and dust collection to the Bay 1 FRC maintenace building.

This solicitation is intended for the nine (9) contract holders of the DHS NMACC II ONLY for proposal response.

All RFP drawings, specifications, supplementary documents and attachments except for the solicitation, the wage determinations and RFI Question Form will be provided via DoDSafe to the POCs listed for the nine (9) NMACC II contract holders.

Background
The contract was awarded to The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company on June 22, 2022, for the Fast Response Cutter (FRC), Recurring Depot Availability Program (RDAP) at USCG Yard, Curtis Bay, MD. The United States Coast Guard Facilities Design & Construction Center in Norfolk, Virginia is overseeing the project.

Work Details
The scope of work includes geotechnical exploration at United States Coast Guard Yard Curtis Bay in Baltimore, Maryland. The report describes the exploratory effort, presents the results of field and laboratory testing as well as geotechnical analyses, and presents conclusions and recommendations for design and construction of the proposed waterfront and landside work elements.
