Background
The U.S. Department of State is seeking vendors/consortiums with broad facilities operations and event planning capabilities to support the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought (SS) is to gather market research pursuant to Part 10 and to identify businesses capable of performing the functions described herein. The Expo 2025 Osaka is a large-scale, universal exposition registered by the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE), with the theme 'Designing Future Society for Our Lives' and subthemes including Saving Lives, Connecting Lives, and Empowering Lives.

Work Details
The project scope includes recruitment, event planning, programming, stocking, staffing, securing, operating and maintaining the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan. This involves tasks such as recruitment, hiring, training, implementation, and management of pavilion staffing across various categories; utilities management; competitive recruitment and selection for various programs; menu curation; public relations and media services; planning and execution of a U.S. National Day during Expo; compliance with the Buy America Act and the Trade Agreements Act (TAA); and more. Interested firms are requested to provide a capabilities document and narrative response demonstrating successful experience for each listed attribute.
