Background
The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAVAIR), Patuxent River (also referred to as the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD)) is seeking eligible business firms who are capable of providing support for facilities management requirements associated with command responsibilities and operations. The Infrastructure, Safety and Environmental Department (ISED) provides support for facilities management and for technical, programmatic and operational implementation, policy interpretation and guidance, as well as, expertise in the areas of infrastructure planning and operations. Contractor services in this area are required to support base operations within the NAVAIR Command for facilities located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, MD, St. Inigoes, MD, Arlington, VA and Joint Base McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst, NJ.

Work Details
The solicitation outlines the need for facilities support services for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)/Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft (NAWCAD) Division. The work includes a wide range of tasks such as providing documentation to support the preparation of contracts for services relating to construction/facilities improvement projects, report preparation, records processing, fixed asset record maintenance, preparation of documentation, floor plans, space data, cost estimates, maintaining files and documentation in IBONS as well as official NAWCAD ISED SharePoint site.
Additionally, hazardous and toxic materials support is required including maintaining the HAZMAT Authorized Use List (AULs), processing hazardous material requests using Navy ERP, ensuring Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are on hand for all hazardous material at the activity and conducting periodic reviews of all applicable facilities.
