FA462525R0004, Whiteman AFB Temporary Lodging Facilities Roofing Replacement

Background
The contract is issued by Whiteman Air Force Base (WAFB), which provides temporary lodging facilities (TLFs) primarily for military members and their families during permanent change of station (PCS) moves.

The goal of this contract is to replace the non-functional roofing on six TLF buildings to ensure continued accommodation for military personnel and their families during transitional periods.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all services, materials, supplies, labor, studies, management, travel, and other resources necessary for the roof replacement of approximately 27,882 square feet on buildings B3001, B3003, B3201, B3203, B3205, and B3206.

The roofing will be removed and replaced with like-style roofing to maintain the integrity and functionality of the TLFs. The buildings include carports for some units and a common parking area for others.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to begin performance within a specified number of calendar days after receiving the award and notice to proceed. The completion period is also defined in calendar days following the start date.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Whiteman Air Force Base located in Missouri.
