OT-ACQ-WFM-NO LAKE THUNDERBIRD HAZARDOUS FUELS REDUCTION
Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region, is issuing this contract for hazardous fuels reduction at Lake Thunderbird State Park in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The mission of the Bureau of Reclamation includes managing water resources and supporting environmental stewardship. The goal of this contract is to reduce hazardous fuels in the area to mitigate fire risks and promote ecological health.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal of Red Cedar trees as part of the Lake Thunderbird Hazard Fuel Reduction project. The scope includes:
- Base Schedule: 508 total acres of hazardous fuels reduction.
- Optional Schedule 1: 216 total acres.
- Optional Schedule 2: 378 total acres.
All work must adhere to natural resources conservation and land treatment practices as specified under Product/Service Code F006.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025.
