Acadia National Park - Rockefeller Lead Paint Abatement   2

Background
The National Park Service, Contracting Operations East, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Acadia National Park in Winter Harbor, Maine. The goal of this contract is to perform Lead Paint Abatement at the Rockefeller Hall interior, ensuring the safety and preservation of the historic site. The estimated magnitude of the complete requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, access, and supervision necessary to complete the Lead Paint Abatement at Rockefeller Hall. Specific tasks include:

1. Abating loose peeling paint in various areas and utilizing lead paint stabilization procedures with one primer coat.

2. Areas to be addressed include:
- Suite B Ceiling Finance Office (66 sqft)
- Suite A Kitchen Ceiling (56 sqft), Conference Room (108 sqft), Living Room Area (44 sqft)
- Suite C Kitchen Walls (56 sqft), Ceiling (18 sqft), Pantry Closet (62 sqft), Foyer Closet Walls (80 sqft), Foyer Ceiling (27 sqft)
- North Breakout Room and Fireplace Room (110 sqft)
- Front Desk Lobby Outside Megan's Office Ceiling (30 sqft)
- North Stairwell Suite C Walls (108 sqft), Ceilings (72 sqft and 49 sqft)
- Main Center Entrance Ceiling (48 sqft)
- Schoodic Institute Lobby Ceiling (325 sqft combined)
- Utility Closet in South Suite B (20 sqft)
- South Stairwell Walls and Ceilings on both first and second floors totaling 158 sqft.

3. The contractor must ensure compliance with all relevant provisions and clauses incorporated in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract is from October 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Acadia National Park located at 20 Mcfarland Hill Drive, Bar Harbor ME 04609.
