Exterior Railing and Wall Painting, Robert F. Peckham Federal Building, 280 S. First St., San Jose, CA 95113

Background
The General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this solicitation for a firm fixed price contract aimed at repainting the exterior railings and wall portions around the Robert F. Peckham Federal Building and Courthouse located at 280 S. First St., San Jose, CA 95113.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the aesthetic and functional integrity of the building's exterior surfaces.

Work Details
The project involves repainting various exterior surfaces, specifically:
- Refinish 2nd St. plaza handrails.
- Refinish parking garage ramp handrails.
- Refinish rear entrance handrails.
- Refinish parking lot 2nd street perimeter walls.

All surfaces must be prepared according to paint manufacturer’s instructions and receive two finish coats. Complete removal of existing paint is not expected. The materials specified include:
- Railings will use Waterbased Alkyd Urethane.
- Walls will use Exterior Acrylic Latex with a semi-gloss sheen in the color 'Swiss Coffee'.

The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary for the execution of the work as described in the Statement of Work dated 3/4/2025.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from May 21, 2025, to September 21, 2026.

The construction projects will be performed at the Robert F. Peckham Federal Building & Courthouse located at 280 S. First St., San Jose, CA 95113.
