Description

The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) requires on-site interpretation,scheduled telephonic (regardless of the platform used) interpretation, Video RemoteInterpretation (VRI), Computer Aided Real-Time Transcription (CART), and written transcription/translation of recordings services. These services are required for immigrationcourt proceedings on an as-needed basis throughout the United States, the District ofColumbia, and U.S. territories including, but not limited to, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico,the Virgin Islands, the Mariana Islands, and Guam. The services are presently required and is currently being performed. The services will be provided at various locations across the United States.

Background
The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) was established on January 9, 1983, as part of the Department of Justice (DOJ) to administer and interpret federal immigration laws through immigration court proceedings, appellate reviews, and administrative hearings. EOIR's mission includes overseeing the Immigration Courts and their proceedings, hearing appeals of decisions made by Immigration Judges and other officials, and resolving cases related to employer sanctions and immigration-related discrimination.

The EOIR aims to ensure fair and efficient adjudication of immigration matters, with approximately 2.2 million cases heard annually.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of language services including:
- On-Site Interpretation (OSI)
- Over the Phone Interpretation (OPI)
- Video Remote Interpretation (VRI)
- Written translation
- Computer Aided Real-Time Transcription (CART)
- Transcription/translation of recordings in multiple foreign languages.

These services are required for immigration court proceedings on an as-needed basis across the United States, including territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam. The contract will operate on an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity basis with task orders issued by the EOIR. The contractor must ensure timely availability of interpreters to prevent disruptions in court operations.

Period of Performance
The contract period will begin on September 1, 2025, and end on August 31, 2026, with six additional option periods extending the total duration up to 84 months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories including Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Mariana Islands, and Guam.
