Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking to procure two environmental test chambers for research and testing purposes.
This contract aims to support electrochemical testing at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, which is part of NASA's mission to advance space exploration and technology.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of two (2) environmental test chambers with the following specifications:
1. Stainless steel internal construction
2. 20 ft3 internal chamber volume
3. Temperature control from at least -50°C to 150°C
4. Temperature fluctuation at steady state (after stabilization) shall be no greater than plus or minus 1°C
5. Built-in gaseous nitrogen purging capability
6. Window in door
7. Internal chamber light
8. Exterior height less than or equal to 80 inches (including casters)
9. Self-contained refrigeration system
10. Minimum of two openings of at least 3 inches in diameter for instrumentation feed-through in side wall
11. One adjustable stainless steel shelf with a weight limit of at least 25 pounds
12. Failsafe backup of main controller to provide a redundant temperature limiting system (limit controller), adjustable over temperature range, with an alarm feature for out-of-tolerance temperatures.
13. 110/120 volt or 208 volt single-phase AC operation.
Vendors must specify:
- Temperature range
- Temperature control tolerance
- Electrical requirements of chamber (current, voltage, number of phases)
- Interior and exterior dimensions
- Manufacturer and model number of main temperature controller
- Weight limit of shelf and total weight limit of chamber.

Period of Performance
The expected delivery date for the environmental test chambers is August 22, 2024.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Stennis Space Center, MS 39529-6000.
