THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. This is NOT a Request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document exists, and a formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government as a result of the responses received to this RFI.

DHS is looking to acquire a Department-wide Identity and Registration solution, and the use of contractor subject matter expertise and technical services to perform initial integration and configuration at the most affordable cost to the government. DHS has developed this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit market research information from industry.

Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking to acquire a Department-wide Identity and Registration solution, and is requesting market research information from industry through this Request for Information (RFI). The objective is to use contractor subject matter expertise and technical services to perform initial integration and configuration at the most affordable cost to the government.

Work Details
The contract objectives include acquiring software and hardware solutions for the Enterprise Vetting Management System (eVMS) initiative. The solution must support various capabilities such as Identity and Registration Management, Foreign Access Management, Contracts Management, Classified Visitor Management, Reporting, and General Objectives. The detailed requirements encompass aspects like Person Record Capture, Case Management, Import/Export and Data Interfaces, FNV Person Details, Multi-Location Visits, Vetting Notification, Visit Request Tracking, Vendor Management, Clearance Management, Incoming/Outgoing classified visitor management, Personnel Security Reports, FAM Reports, Contracts Reports, Administration Reports, Policy/Governance, Access Management / Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Auditing and Logging.
