Enterprise Service Delivery III (ESD III) – Scope Increase

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking to convert a previously Local National position at the Aviano, Italy site to a contractor position due to the departure of the local national employee and the inability to backfill the role with local national personnel.

The DLA requires the expertise of a contractor to provide continued support to the Aviano site and several one-off customers on the Italian mainland.

Work Details
The contract will involve providing operational support for IT hardware and software services at the Aviano site. The justification for this sole source contract with CompTech is based on their unique qualifications and ability to meet the urgent operational needs of DLA.

CompTech has demonstrated capability in managing both high priority aspects of IT services efficiently, ensuring consistency in functional area management. Introducing another vendor would increase risks and delays, jeopardizing immediate support requirements.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Aviano site in Italy and potentially other locations on the Italian mainland.
