The work involves removing the existing roofing material, installing a new TPO roof covering, flashing mechanical ventilation handler casings, and repairing the roof drainage system. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Work Details
.228-15, PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS -- CONSTRUCTION: The amendment to the sealed bid advertisement will be issued to each responsible bidder changing the Invitation for Bids Number to Request for Proposals Number. The amendment will also make any necessary changes to the scope of the work. Bidders are advised that for the purpose of applicability of the Davis-Bacon Act and other contract labor standard provisions, 'the site of the work' under the contract may not be limited to the physical place(s) where the construction called for in the contract will remain when work on it has been completed.

The 'site of the work' may include other adjacent or nearby property used by the Contractor or Subcontractors during such construction.

Period of Performance
The Contractor shall begin performance within 120 calendar days and complete it within 10 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. This performance period is mandatory.

The construction project will take place at Building 6000 in Vicksburg, Warren County, MS.
