The purpose of Amendment No. 1 to the ISO is to extend the due date for proposals to June 27, 2024, 3:00 PM ET. However, as a reminder, proposals will be invite-only A revised version of the ISO, with the new due date, is included as an attachment to this amendment. Lastly, the bundle described in 4.2.2. Full Proposal Format will be provided directly by ARPA-H to proposers invited to submit a full proposal.

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) posts this Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) in support of its Engineering Of Immune Cells Inside The Body (EMBODY) Program. ARPA-H anticipates multiple other transaction awards.

Background
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has posted an Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) in support of its Engineering Of Immune Cells Inside The Body (EMBODY) Program. The program aims to develop platforms and approaches for genetically engineering immune cells in vivo to treat diseases like cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic infections. Work Details
The EMBODY program will catalyze the discovery and development of platforms and approaches for genetically engineering immune cells in vivo. It includes two technical areas (TA): TA1 focuses on platforms and approaches for in situ generation of genetically engineered immune cells, while TA2 focuses on advanced production and validation of products developed using TA1 platforms. Performers must submit proposals that cover both TAs. Proposals without both TAs will be deemed non-conforming and will not be reviewed.
