Background
The successful contractor shall provide the Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO) with engineering consultants to assist with the construction of the New Embassy Compound (NEC) in Podgorica, Montenegro. OBO requires the following engineering consulting positions be staffed to aid in construction monitoring and oversight activities.
Offerors must be authorized to perform services within Montenegro and the personnel proposed to fill each position must be authorized to work in Montenegro at the time of proposal submission.

Work Details
The United States New Embassy Compound (NEC) Project in Podgorica, Montenegro consists of approximately 15,950 gross square meters of building area in six new structures, renovation work on two CAC facilities, and extensive site work including new utilities and perimeter wall upgrades. The Primary Designer of Record is Integrus Architecture, Spokane, WA. Construction is managed by a team of U.S. Government personnel and local personnel within the Bureau of the Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) office.
The following are the positions required to staff the Podgorica NEC project: Mechanical Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Safety Program Coordinator, Architect, Civil Engineer.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of this contract is for one calendar year (starting upon the issuance of Notice to Proceed by the Contracting Officer), with two (2) one-year options.
