Engineering and Technical Services for Navy Reentry Bodies (RB) Vulnerability and Performance   2

Under the authorities of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(4), Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) awarded a follow-on technical engineering services contract required for the acquisition, development, deployment, and operational support of Reentry Body aspects of the Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) strategic weapon systems, during the period of 01 October 2020 through 31 March 2026. The engineering services procured will support technical, programmatic, system safety, and operational aspects of current and future Reentry Body systems development, refurbishment, and life extension programs, as well as the assessment of Reentry Body system performance and vulnerability to harsh environments. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by Peraton, Inc under Contract N00030-16-C-0016, which SSP awarded using other than full and open competition. A Sources Sought Notice was posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website on 31 May 2019. SSP did not receive any inquiries of interest. The Special Notice for this effort was posted on 18 August 2020 under Solicitation #N00030-21-R-0016. Again, SSP did not receive any inquiries of interest.
