Description

The Contractor shall provide DHS specific customization to their product while hosted
within the DHS environment as an instance. Should it be necessary, the Contractor may
fulfill this initially in a secure Contractor's environment; migrate the software into a
secure government environment; prepare all necessary testing and documentation
required by the government hosting environment; and implement (to include training)
the ePCR system to all the DHS Components with EMS systems. Upon completion of the
ePCR system migration into the government environment all work on the above mention
tasks will conclude and all payments completed.

Background
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Medical Operations Directorate within Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) serves as the principal agent for all medical and public health matters. The DHS Chief Medical Officer (CMO) retains the authority to exercise oversight over all medical and public health activities of DHS. The ePCR system incorporates best practices, tracks, and evaluates the quality of care provided, as well as credentials while ensuring that the standard of care is continually met.
DHS credentials over 3,500 EMS personnel rendering care in the pre-hospital environment with an annual call volume of more than 75,000 incidents per year.
