Description

THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide the electrical construction services needed for each BPA call under the agreement.

The period of performance of the resulting agreement will be 36 months from the date of award. The BPA Master Limit is $250,000; where no single BPA Call may exceed $25,000 in total cost.

In accordance with FAR 13.303-3(a)(2), the Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA.

Interested vendors are notified that the Government's intent is to award multiple (up to three (3)) Blanket Purchase Agreements from this one solicitation.

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a solicitation for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide electrical construction services in the Naugatuck River Basin, Connecticut. The goal of this contract is to establish a cost-effective and rapid response mechanism for maintaining USACE facilities through an indefinite quantity of electrical services.

The BPA aims to support the agency's mission by ensuring timely and efficient electrical service delivery.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to execute various electrical services under this BPA. Specific tasks include:
1. Service Panel Installation, Replacement, or Upgrade;
2. Sub-Panel Installation, Replacement, or Upgrade;
3. Service Transformer Installation, Replacement, or Upgrade;
4. Underground Service Line Installation, Repair, Replacement, or Upgrade;
5. Overhead Service Line Installation, Repair, Replacement, or Upgrade;
6. Electrical System Upgrades for Project Offices, Utility Buildings and/or Gate Houses;
7. Switch Gear Installation, Replacement, or Upgrade.

The contractor must ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as NFPA 70 and UL for materials used.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the resulting agreement will be 36 months from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within the Naugatuck River Basin in Connecticut.
