Background
The EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades West Campus – North Chicago - Construction project is part of the Captain James A. Lovell FHCC, which is comprised of 94 acres and 48 buildings ranging from single to 5 levels, with construction age from 1926 until 2021 totaling 1.8 million square feet. The project aims to provide infrastructure improvements including renovations, safety and infection control compliance, selective demolition, installation, testing, and certification of telecom cabling, electrical distribution system improvements, physical security and access control system upgrades, HVAC system improvements, and finishes throughout all buildings.

Work Details
The work includes general construction, alterations, site work, mechanical work, electrical work, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items. Primary project work locations include tele-data rooms throughout various buildings and sites. The scope of the project encompasses a wide range of infrastructure improvements such as telecom cabling installation and certification, electrical distribution system improvements, physical security and access control system upgrades, HVAC system improvements, and finishes including walls, floors, and ceilings of new or altered rooms.

Period of Performance
The contract requires the completion of all work including submittals, reviews, quality assurance, and closeout within two hundred forty-four (244) calendar days from PCAC issuance of Award.
