This project includes, but is not limited to, providing asphalt paving and concrete support to Eglin AFB, FL. This requirement consists of resurfacing, full depth reconstruction, and new full-deep construction of bituminous concrete and portland cement concrete pavements. This work shall be self-performing and not sub-contracted out to a third party. Contractors shall have in-house laboratory capabilities of testing asphalt. Contractors in-house asphalt production shall be within reasonable distance to deliver temperature sensitive asphalt for large road construction and airfield construction projects. Clearing, excavating, grading and associated operations related to the construction of airfield pavements, roads, streets, railroads and culverts complete. Contractor shall be capable of placing at least 2,200 Tons of Airfield Pavement per day during runway milling and overlay construction. Construction of curb return widenings, new construction of bituminous concrete ramp-downs, crack repair in bituminous concrete pavement, new construction of concrete foundation walls and footings.
Background
Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL, has a requirement for a Paving Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The mission of this contract is to provide essential asphalt paving and concrete support services to enhance the infrastructure at Eglin AFB.

The project aims to ensure the effective construction and maintenance of airfield pavements, roads, and related structures, complying with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, and base standards.

Work Details
