Eglin AFB Duke Field, Florida- New Express w/ Gas

Background
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a new 3,175 SF building for an Express with expanded food options, a new gas canopy, and four new MPDs at Eglin AFB Duke Field in Florida. The estimated cost of the project is between $2,500,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 with a construction period of 365 calendar days.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a new building for an Express with expanded food options, installation of a new gas canopy, and four new MPDs. The contractor is required to comply with the Privacy Act of 1974 and Department of Defense rules and regulations issued under the Act. Additionally, the contractor must comply with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) for routine physical access to a Federally controlled facility and/or routine access to a Federally controlled information system.
The contractor must also adhere to the Notice of Requirement for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246) by meeting minority and female participation goals established for federally involved and non-federally involved construction work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is 365 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Eglin AFB Duke Field in Florida.
