Description

The FBI is seeking sources for holsters that meet the requirements stated in the RFI. Please see the attached RFI for details.

Background
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Firearms Training Unit (FTU) is seeking conducting market research and seeking available sources to provide duty holsters that meet specific criteria. The information gathered may be used to formulate acquisition strategies for competitive solicitations.

Work Details
The FBI is seeking sources for duty/concealable holsters with active retention for the Glock 17 Gen5 MOS and Glock 19 Gen5 MOS pistols. The holsters must meet specific requirements, including being Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant, having a 0 degree vertical draw, and accommodating specific optical sight configurations. Additionally, the holsters must fit the pistols without modification, be available only in black, and have an active retention device. The submission requirements for interested parties include providing administrative information, company qualifications, and submitting a right-handed holster sample.

The products are to be delivered to the Training Division - FTU at 1 Range Road, Quantico, VA 22135.
