Drydock Repairs to the CGC Cimarron and Barge   3

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing this solicitation for drydock repairs to the USCGC CIMARRON and associated barge. The goal of the contract is to ensure that the vessels are maintained in optimal condition, supporting the Coast Guard's mission of maritime safety and security.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Provide a roof of insurance (Statement of Coverage) from the current insurance carrier.
2. List all subcontractors intended for use on the contract.
3. Submit all Technical Representative Certifications for both prime and subcontractors as specified in the specifications.
4. Obtain a Drydock Certificate.

The evaluation factors for award include:

I. Past Performance - Offerors must identify 2 to 4 relevant contracts performed in the last three years related to ship construction, overhaul, repair, or alteration.
II. Price - Offerors must complete Attachment 1 with prices for all CLINs and provide detailed pricing information if requested.
III. Technical - Offerors must submit required technical documents as listed in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be determined upon contract award and will encompass all necessary repairs and services as outlined in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's commercial shipyard, which must be specified by the offeror.
