Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the maintenance of Dredge Material Containment Areas (DMCAs) and Bird Islands in Savannah and Brunswick Harbors.

The goal of this contract is to manage vegetation through mowing, herbicide application, and clearing activities to ensure environmental compliance and habitat management.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and services to complete the following tasks:

1. Full mowing/cutting of vegetation in DMCAs;
2. Environmental mowing/cutting of vegetation in DMCAs;
3. Herbicide application in DMCAs;
4. Herbicide application and clearing of bird islands.

Specific tasks include:
- Full Mowing for various DMCA locations (1N, 2A, 12A, 13A, 13B, 14A, 14B, Jones Island);
- Environmental Mowing for DMCA locations (1N, 2A, 12A, 13A, 13B, 14A, 14B);
- Herbicide application for DMCAs and Bird Islands;
- Hand clearing operations on specified Bird Islands;
- Application of fire ant pesticides on designated areas.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within Savannah and Brunswick Harbors.
