Draft Request for Proposal CBRN IDIQ Recompete   2

Background
The GSA Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) AAS Army intends to award a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to approximately twelve responsible small business offerors. This IDIQ will support the United States Army Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (CBRND), which is the Joint Service’s leader for development, acquisition, fielding, and life-cycle support of CBRND and medical countermeasures.

The goal of this contract is to provide a rapid acquisition vehicle for brand name supplies necessary for the JPEO-CBRND's mission to ensure that service members are equipped with capable and supportable systems in a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear environment.

Work Details
The IDIQ contract will cover commercial brand name equipment/items including but not limited to:
- Personal Protective Equipment:
- Class 1 (Level A), Class II (Level B), Class III (Level C) Protective Over Garment
- CBRND Over boot
- CBRND Gloves
- Closed Circuit-Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (C-SCBA)
- Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Air Purifying Respirator (APR)
- Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
- Chemical Defense Detection Capabilities/Devices
- Biological Defense Monitoring Capabilities/Devices
- Radiological Defense Identification Capabilities/Devices
- Nuclear Defense Sampling Capabilities/Devices
- Toxic Industrial Chemicals Detection Capabilities/Devices
- Decontamination Equipment Capabilities/Devices
- Situational Awareness Hardware/Software Communications Capabilities/Devices.
Additional items may be added to the contractor’s catalog after initial IDIQ award as long as they fall within the scope of the IDIQ and are authorized by written modification.

Period of Performance
Each order issued under this IDIQ will have its own delivery date. Orders issued prior to but not completed before the end of the IDIQ ordering period shall be completed according to the order requirements.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to various locations as specified in individual delivery orders.
