DOD - VMWare Horizon Consultant - MRAS

The Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC) 805th Combat Training Squadron at Nellis AFB, NV is seeking to purchase VMWare vouchers for the Horizon Consulting project at the Shadow Operations Center Nellis (ShOC-N). The vouchers are needed to expand and enhance the deployment and configuration of VMware Horizon technologies at ShOC-N. This purchase is crucial for interoperability, continuity, and integration with current and future Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2)/Advanced Battle Management Systems (ABMS) initiatives. The contract awardee will provide U.S. Federal Consulting & Learning Vouchers for VMWare Horizon Onsite Consultants for sustainment and operational support. The consultant will assist in daily operations and maintenance of the deployed cloud management platform, routine operational maintenance and monitoring of automation systems, development of Standard Operating Procedures, knowledge transfer and cross-training, technical support for large-scale projects, and improvement of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The period of performance for the vouchers is one year from signature or receipt of purchase order.

The work will be performed at the government facility located at Bldg 202, 3663 Tyndall Ave, Nellis AFB, 89191. Access to classified networks at the Secret level will be required, and contractors will need to be registered with a Facility Clearance (FCL). The 805th Combat Training Squadron (CTS) will be responsible for procuring all hardware and software products needed for this project. They will also provide access to facilities and computer systems as required by the VMware Consultant.

In terms of security requirements, the 805 CTS will provide written guidance outlining all security requirements associated with accessing facilities, systems, and networks. This includes compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.204-2 on Security Requirements and FAR Subpart 4.4 on Safeguarding Classified Information within Industry. Contractors will need access to Restricted Data and controlled unclassified information to perform their duties, and operations security will comply with AFI 10-701 and local plans and publications.
