The Department of Defense (DoD) is seeking Red Hat software and services through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in support of the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI). The DoD plans to award 5 year, firm fixed-price, multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) under the General Services Administration (GSA) SIN 511210, Software Licenses The BPA awardees must be a Software Publisher or Software Publisher's Authorized Reseller. In accordance with DFARS 208.74, the BPAs will be a mandatory source of supply for products made available to all DoD components. This acquisition will support the DoD in its information technology (IT) efficiency initiatives, lower total ownership costs, reduce acquisition lead times, and improve the overall lifecycle management for software licensing requirements.
