Digger Derrick Truck

Background
The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CES) is seeking to lease one (1) Digger Derrick Truck for a period of 4 months or 120 calendar days. The contracting activity is being conducted by 7 CONS/PKB at Dyess AFB, TX. The solicitation is issued under the format in Subpart 12.6 and is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a commercial item.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a Digger Derrick Truck rental for a period of 120 months, with the option to rent month-to-month after the initial four-month period. The contractor must coordinate with the Facility Manager or Job Requester for delivery and provide Points of Contact within their company to interface with the Contract Officer on issues concerning the rental. The Digger Derrick must meet all required standards including DOT, OSHA, and ANSI/SIA requirements. Additionally, it should have completed Dielectric Testing and meet specific technical specifications such as Working Sheave Height, Hydraulic Overload Protection System, Insulating 3rd Stage, Boom Stow Protection System, among others.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is 4 months or 120 calendar days.
