The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA is seeking a contractor to perform annual testing of fire alarm systems. The work includes testing various components of the fire alarm system, such as the fire alarm control unit, alarm control unit trouble signals, transmission equipment, emergency power supply system, remote annunciators, initiating devices, heat detectors, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and more. The testing must be performed in accordance with the most current standards of NFPA-72 and manufacturer's recommendations. The contractor must have trained and qualified technicians with NICET Level II certification and Notifier by Honeywell training. The service will be performed during normal business hours from Monday to Friday. The contractor is required to submit an annual testing plan and provide reports/records of the inspection/testing results and any deficiencies found.

The timeframe for the acquisition is not specified in the statement of work. However, the contractor is required to schedule all annual testing with the COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) and FSS (Fire Systems Specialist) no later than 10 business days prior to any work. The testing may be broken up by buildings or groups of buildings but must be completed within the contract period.

The place of performance/delivery is at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) located at 1131 Chapel Crossing Road in Brunswick, GA 31524.

Notable requirements include that all inspections must be performed by a NICET Level II certified Fire Alarm Technician with Notifier by Honeywell training and a minimum of 2 years' experience. The contractor must also provide detailed reports/records of the inspection/testing results and any deficiencies found, as well as a cost estimate for correcting the deficiencies.
