DHS/CBP Green Exam Tape Rolls and DHS/CBP Blue/White Tape Rolls

Background
The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Customs and Border Protection (DHS/CBP) for the procurement of specific tape rolls. The goal of this contract is to provide DHS/CBP with Green Exam Tape Rolls and Agriculture Open for Inspection Blue/White Tape Rolls, which are essential for their operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor is required to produce the following items:

1. Jacket 572-139: 47,520 Green Exam Tape Rolls, size 2" x 60 yards, made from 2" Green PVC Adhesive Tape (2.5mil thick). The contractor may use Hotmelt Polypropylene (2mil thick) at their option. Each roll must print type and agency logo in black ink on green vinyl material, flood coated with a UV clear protective topcoat after printing, backed with permanent pressure-sensitive rubber base adhesive, mounted on a 3" diameter core, printed side out, left off roll first. Each carton should contain 36 rolls, with a total of 30 pallets.

2. Jacket 572-140: 31,680 Blue/White Tape Rolls, size 2" x 60 yards, made from White PVC Adhesive Tape (2mil-2.5mil thick). The contractor may use 2.6mil polypropylene tape at their option but must ensure stock used is not less than 2mil thick. Each roll must print type and agency logo in blue ink on white vinyl material, flood coated with a UV clear protective topcoat after printing, backed with permanent pressure-sensitive rubber based adhesive, mounted on a 3" diameter core, printed side out, left off roll first. Each carton should contain 36 rolls with a total of 20 pallets.

PDF proofs are required for each jacket prior to production. Partial shipments are authorized to Indianapolis, IN; half the quantity of each jacket must be delivered by September 30, 2024, and the balance by October 31, 2024.

Period of Performance
The contract period includes delivery milestones: partial delivery of half the quantity by September 30, 2024; full completion and final delivery by October 31, 2024.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance for deliveries is the National Distribution Center located at 6484 Corporate Drive, Indianapolis, IN.
