DFAS-CO Ergonomic Consulting Services

Background
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS-CO) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of commercial Ergonomic Consulting Services in Columbus, Ohio.
The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive on-site ergonomic consultation services aimed at promoting employee health and reducing workplace exposure to ergonomic risk factors for approximately 2,600 employees.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of services including:
1. On-site individual ergonomic evaluations, onboarding, and group training.
2. Conducting workstation evaluations and employee observations.
3. Making workstation modifications and performing follow-up evaluations.
4. Providing off-site administrative support for report completion, training development, assessment review, and statistical data compilation.
5. The contractor shall deliver approximately 624 hours of ergonomic consultation and general occupational safety and health services annually, which includes an average of one 8-hour day per week for on-site visits and an estimated 16 hours per year for group training.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods.

The services will be performed at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS-CO), located at 3990 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio, 43213-1152.
