Design-Build Medan New Consulate Compound, Indonesia Sources Sought - Market Research

Background
The U.S. Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has issued a sources sought notice for the construction of a New Consulate Compound (NCC) in Medan, Indonesia. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and identify businesses capable of performing the functions described herein. It is important to note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment to conduct a solicitation for the listed services in the future.

Work Details
The project scope includes the construction of a new office building, a new main controlled access control facility, support facilities including utility building and staff and visitor parking, as well as the construction of full-height perimeter walls.
The work also involves design development and finalization inclusive of necessary field survey/verification/action including unexploded ordnance/remnants of exploded ordnance survey and removal as needed, geotechnical analysis, and building construction totaling approximately 3340 gross-square-meters (GSM). The approximate construction cost is $55 - 70 million. The government is seeking companies in various Socio-Economic Categories such as Small Business (SB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), HubZone (HUBZ), 8(a), and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses under NAICS code 236220.

The construction projects will be performed at the New Consulate Compound site located in the Polonia neighborhood of Medan, Indonesia.
